Program Description
Chronic illness demands courage few able-bodied people ever understand. It's waking up to a body that feels foreign. It's the exhaustion of always having to advocate for your own basic needs, in doctors’ offices or in personal relationships. It’s missed birthdays, and medical bills. It’s the frustration of being forced to explain yourself, again and again, to those who cannot understand.
It's the quiet grief of plans forever postponed. Living with chronic illness is an unrelenting journey—but it doesn’t have to be a solitary one. At Chronic Illness Connections, we offer a space where you are seen without judgment and supported with empathy, not empty platitudes. This is not a therapy group. It is a community, where conversations are guided by the collective needs of those present—whether that’s navigating healthcare systems, managing relationships, or simply finding moments of respite.
Join Us
Meetings are held twice monthly, free of charge and open to all diagnoses. Come as you
are—whether from home or our NJ location.
1. Complete the Registration Form (Liability Agreement) - This has to be checked off, signed, and complete all parts of the form.
2. After the form is complete please email it to Contact@healthnbloom.org to receive a zoom invitation.
3. Your zoom invitation will be emailed with a Waiver Agreement, which you can complete before we start! - (in-person zoom meetings coming soon)
